Teamwork guides us to engage and sustain long-term relationships with our employees and customers. We are currently seeking a qualified Floor Technician to join our TEAM! This position will work at multiple building locations within Gastonia, NC to provide sanitation and cleaning services for our site.

Schedule
- 9pm-5:30am, Sunday to Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Use proper cleaning procedures on hard floor care (stripping & refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing) in adherence to the principles of hard surface floor maintenance;
- Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.);
- Operate industrial floor care equipment as assigned and according to schedule for cleaning of large area of floor surface;
- Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types;
- Remove trash, recyclables, and change disposable bags;
- Adheres to all company safety guidelines, policies, and procedures;
- Proper use and wear of PPE equipment including but not limited to suits, protective eyewear, safety shoes, gloves, and/or masks.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-2 years of industrial cleaning and sanitation experience, or a similar role;
- Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role and knowledge of floor care equipment and use is preferred;
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate proper communication with others and be able to perform simple mathematical calculations;
- Experience or willingness to learn scrubber machine operations;
- Strong communication skills with an attention to detail;
- Ability to commute to various building locations as per service need by vehicle;
- Valid driver's license.
